Lease Options and Coca-Cola in All Ireland Eco Drive
Lease Options have secured another major contract with Coca-Cola Hellenic to supply vehicles for their operation across the whole of Ireland. Last year saw Lease Options bid successfully for the first 'All Ireland' deal of its kind Lease Options being the only company to provide a solution to Coca Cola which fulfilled all its needs.The challenge for Lease Options was to co‑ordinate a dual area facility, and manage a nationwide fleet.
Over the past year the company has successfully provided Coca‑Cola Hellenic with all their fleet requirements. The Coca‑Cola Hellenic operation based at Knockmore Hill in Lisburn, bottles and distributes for the whole of Ireland and the need to have staff cars operated and maintained from one island base was a contract requirement which Lease Options committed tofulfill. 140 vehicles ranging from BMWs, Vauxhalls and a range of commercial vehicles are to be supplied each year with a capital value of 4 million euros.
Lease Optionʼs Managing Director Paul McGuire said, "We had some major hurdles to ensure that we could supply what would be Irelands first all island vehicle leasing plan.” Efficiency was a major factor and with the BMW fleet dynamics engine systems, and Vauxhalls Ecoflex system, Lease Options delivered the best possible tailored package to Coca‑Cola. Gerry O'Neill, Coca‑olaʼ Distribution Manager said, “Our focus was to provide the most environmentally friendly and cost effectivevehicles for our fleet by sourcing within each jurisdiction. BMW ʻfficient dynamicsʼand Vauxhall/ Opelʼ ʻcoflexʼrange provided the correct solution for Coca‑ola and for our drivers, in terms of emissions and fuel efficiency.”
On securing the contract again, against stiff competition, Lease Options Paul McGuire said “Weʼe sourced a range of vehicles whichallows Coca‑ola Hellenic to reduce the impact of business travel on the environment.
